TOPIC: THE GLORY OF KNOWING GOD
TEXT: DAN.11:32
 The greatest challenge in the House of God is getting people to know God.
God isn't seeking church members, church workers or ministers, God is seeking 'God knowers'.
 The reason people backslide is because they never really knew God.
If You know God, in the time of crisis You can give yourself spiritual first-aid.
Don't be contented with being a christian, desire to be an active believer.
Getting to know God is a conscious thing, a deliberate effort.
Christianity isn't Just a passive thing but an active thing.
  STEPS TO KNOWING GOD.
Just like a man to man relationship, knowing God comes in 5 stages.
Poposal-Communication-1 on 1 communication-Complimenting-Visitation.
i. SALVATION(2COR.5:17). Salvation is the PROPOSAL STAGE to knowing God.
ii. WORD OF GOD.(COL3:16,HEB.4:12). Immediately you give your life to God, the battle for your soul begins, you then need the word of God. The Word of God is the COMMUNICATION STAGE. When you are wordless, you are worthless.
iii. MEDITATION.(JOS.1:8) In other for a relationship with God to be active and 2-way, you need to meditate on God's word.This takes you from the Logos to Rhema arena. This is the ONE-ON-ONE COMMUNICATION STAGE.
iv. WORSHIP. This is the COMPLIMENTING STAGE. A man that worships God, brings down the Glory of God.
v. FELLOWSHIP.(HEB.10:25). This is the stage of VISITATION. You must be conscious of going to God's house.
